They differ in how many individual and group classes are included each month: Café includes 8 individual + 2 group classes, Professional 12 + 4, and Immersion 20 + 8. English Cafe access will be added when the community space launches.

Yes — your first individual class is free, no subscription required. Group classes aren't eligible for the free trial, and it's limited to one per student.

Yes. Individual classes are $25/hour and group classes are $10/hour, billed per class with no subscription required.

Yes, you can change or cancel your plan from your billing settings at any time; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

Yes. Every tutor on Englishia is a native English speaker with a professional background, able to teach both casual conversational English and business English.

Yes - book recurring classes with one tutor you like, or mix it up and book a few different tutors depending on what you're practicing.

You can reschedule or cancel a class from your dashboard up until the class start time, subject to your tutor’s availability.

The free CEFR test is in development. Until it launches, choose “Not sure” when matching with a tutor and they can help establish your starting point.

The English Cafe is the upcoming group meeting space for productive group lessons, movie nights and vocabulary sharing with learners around the world.

Classes are generally non-refundable once they've taken place, and included classes that go unused during a billing period don't roll over. If a class wasn't delivered as booked — for example, your tutor didn't show up — contact us within 7 days and we'll credit or refund that class.

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor — Englishia never sees or stores your full card number.

Create a tutor account, then add your bio, specialties and certification. Tutors must be native English speakers or certified at C2 level, and every application is reviewed before publication.

Your application goes into review. If it's not approved, we'll tell you why and you can update your profile and resubmit.

Englishia does. We maintain global default rates and can configure a tutor-specific rate when needed.
